The FOX Factory Race Series 2.5 Internal Bypass shocks for the Toyota deliver velocity- and position-sensitive damping, Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjustment, and high-speed, race-ready performance in a complete vehicle-specific bolt-on kit.

FOX’s patented Internal Bypass technology creates multiple internal damping zones, resulting in a smooth, confident ride while significantly increasing damping capacity in rough and aggressive terrain. Internal bypass shocks progressively build damping force to:

• Control hard bottom-outs

• Prevent harsh top-outs

• Provide initial catch and stability during landings

Within the ride zone, shock fluid bypasses the main piston through a series of internal bleed ports. As the shock compresses or rebounds beyond the ride zone, these ports close, forcing oil through the main piston to deliver increased and controlled damping force.

The 2.5-inch impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum body, finished with Type III hard anodizing, provides excellent resistance to corrosion and wear. An external reservoir increases oil capacity and contains an internal floating piston (IFP) that separates shock oil from the nitrogen charge, ensuring consistent damping performance and reduced heat buildup during high-speed use.
