RUSTY'S OVER-THE-KNUCKLE TRACK BAR - XJ / ZJ

The Rusty's Over The Knuckle Track Bar and Frame Mount are designed for Jeep XJ Cherokees and ZJ Grand Cherokees using a steering assembly that is mounted on top of the knuckles. When converting any steering assembly over the knuckle (OTK), the original Track Bar axle mount must be removed and relocated for steering clearance. There are many different types of OTK steering conversions out there, and most will include a new track bar mount. For this reason, we DO NOT include a track bar mount for the axle. If one is not present, then Rusty's OTK Weld On Track Bar Mount # RC-RAM999 is required for proper installation of this Track Bar System. This additional mount will weld onto the top of the axle sufficiently clearing an over the steering assembly. This Track Bar System will NOT fit in the factory Track Bar axle location.

Rusty's Heavy Duty track bar and frame mount are designed to eliminate the tie rod end from the upper frame mount and convert it to a bushing mount at both the axle and the frame. This eliminates any binding at the frame end when the suspension is fully flexed out. For many other track bars on the market, this is the limiting factor. The Rusty's frame mount is manufactured from 1/4" CNC formed steel, while the Rusty's track bar is manufactured with 1.25" x 0.250-wall DOM tubing and is also CNC formed for proper steering geometry. The track bar and frame mount are powder coated black for durability and a great look.

This is an awesome addition to any XJ or ZJ utilizing an over the knuckle steering kit or that has over 4" of lift and has ripped off their factory Track Bar axle mount!

A new track bar axle mount is not included with the OTK kit, then Rusty's OTK Weld On Track Bar Mount # RC-RAM999 is required for installation. Also note that Rusty's offers a complete steering and track bar conversion system with our #RS-SC300-UV kit.
