Front Axle Shifter Block off plate for Jeep YJ Dana 30 Front Axle

The Motobilt Jeep YJ Dana 30 front axle block off plate is used when converting your YJ disconnect front axle to a solid one piece axle. The YJ disconnect front axle is notorious for not engaging the front axle and leaving you with only 2wd. A Jeep TJ front one piece front axle is installed to eliminate the 2 piece design that relies on a shift fork that is vacuum actuated. Once the axle shaft from a TJ is installed you will remove the factory shift fork mechanism.

Note:

• Be sure to use some RTV silicone on the mating surface to prevent any leaks
• Once the axle shaft from a TJ is installed you will remove the factory shift fork mechanism
